Ingredients for the Culinary School Pork with Apple Stuffing Recipes (serve 6)
  • Oven temp: 250 c, 500 f, Gas 9
  • 1.5 kg / 3 lb loin of pork, with bone in, rind scored
  • 30 g / 1 oz butter
  • 1 green apple, finely chopped
  • 1 cup / 60 g / 2 oz breadcrumbs, made from stale bread
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon apple jelly
  • 3 tablespoons sultanas
  • 1 tablespoon salt
Cooking Style Recipes
  1. Make a pocket in the pork by separating bones from meat, leaving both ends intact.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add apple. Cook, stirring, for 2 - 3 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in breadcrumbs, lemon rind allspice, apple jelly and sultanas. Season to taste.
  3. Pack stuffing into pocket in pork. Place on a roasting rack set in a baking dish. Rub rind with salt. Bake for 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 190 c/ 375 f / Gas 5. Bake for 1 hour longer or until pork is cooked.

Es bir ini mirip dengan es degan atau es kelapa muda. Bedanya kalo es kelapa muda campurannya kadang pake gula pasir, sirup, atau malah gula merah, maka campuran es bir harus gula pasir. Es bir juga ditambah dengan perasan jeruk nipis. Nah resep selengkapnya adalah:

Bahan-bahan:
1 kelapa muda (yang dagingnya sudah tebal)
jeruk nipis di-iris tipis
gula pasir
es batu

Cara pembuatan:
1. Ambil dahulu air kelapanya
2. Belah kelapa mudanya, serut/ambil daging tipis-tipis
3. Jeruk nipis diiris-iris

Cara penyajian:
1. Siapkan gelas, ambil gula pasir sesuai selera
2. Tambahkan air kelapa muda dan serutan daging kelapa muda
3. Tambahkan es batu secukupnya
4. Berilah beberapa persan jeruk nipis, dan masukkan bekas jeruk nipisnya.

When you are visiting Kasongan and suddenly you feel hungry after searching for the earthen wares the whole day, you need not to be panic since Grandma Warno "Anderson" is ready to save you with his menu: 'pecel Baywatch'.

At first, I wondered about the name 'pecel Baywatch' for the menu served by Grandma Warno. I naughtily imagined that the seller of the food dresses in bikini like Pamela Anderson or at least the warong is at the seaside. It turned out to be wrong. This is the full story.

Grandma Warno's warong is located in Kasongan area, on the way to Gunung Sempu to be exact. The warong that has been operating for 35 years is very simple. The name board of the warong is only of 30 x 20 cm2 size so that it will be overlooked if we do not notice it well. The interior of the warong is completed with simple, functional household furnishings. There are only some wooden tables and chairs and one bamboo divan. Behind the table where the goods are displayed, there is a kitchen with some braziers that always billow smokes. In fact, it is such an accidental setting because in general a kitchen is set at the back

part. Grandma Warno set the kitchen in front part of the warong after the earthquake in May 2006 that ruined his house. "There's not enough money to build a new kitchen," she said.

Kalo Pas buka frezer, terlihat ada beberapa butir duren frozen. Air liur langsung kemeces, teringat es duren di Bandung.

Dipikir-pikir sebenarnya nggak mahal juga es durian ini (dibanding smoothie yang beli di mall:)). Durian utuh bisa bikin es duren untuk 5-6 orang. Heavenly!

Bahan:
Durian
Simple syrup (air + gula, didihkan, dinginkan)
Es batu (sebagian dihancurkan/crushed)
Susu kental manis

cara Pembuatan:
Taruh durian dalam mangkok, beri es batu, simple syrup dan drizzle dengan susu kental manis. Lezaaaaattt....!

Gunakan panci yang berat. Isi air sampai menutupi permukaan telur.
Rebus dengan pasnci setengah tertutup sampai mendidih. Kecilkan api.
Tutup panci rapat dan masak selama 30 detik.
Angkat panci dari api. Diamkan selama 15 menit.
Angkat telur dan letakkan dibawah kran air mengalir sekitar 5 menit.

Cara ini mencegah kuning telur berubah warna dan mudah dikupas.

BAHAN:
500 ml air panas

1 sdm kopi instan
1/2 kaleng susu kental manis cokelat
whipping cream secukupnya
50 gram cokelat masak, lelehkan
Taburan: kayu manis bubuk

CARA MEMBUAT:
1.
Seduh kopi dengan air panas, aduk rata, tambahkan susu kental manis cokelat, aduk rata.
2.
Siapkan gelas tuangi dengan es batu secukupnya.
3. Tuangkan ke dalam gelas, hias dgn whipping cream dan cokelat masak leleh, taburi kayu manis bubuk.
4. Sajikan dingin.
